Titrator Summary

The featured AQUACOUNTER® product is the potentiometric or automatic titrator manufactured by the Hiranuma company in Japan. The COM-300A is a low cost, full-featured potentiometric titrator that offers the very best in value. This titrator allows analysts to do scores of different types of analyses including pH, acid/base, complexometric, redox, Karl Fischer, non-aqueous titrations and ISE measurements. The COM-1600 is a larger potentiometric titrator with a color LCD display and several options including automation and multitasking applications.

The AQUACOUNTER® Karl Fischer titrators and the optional evaporators and sampling devices can determine moisture in a wide range of samples, be they solid, liquid or gas. Large color displays and complete computer control highlight the 2100 series. Both the AQ-2100 coulometric titrator and the AQV-2100 volumetric titrator can be configured with two channels to enhance sample throughput and adaptability. Both titrators form the basis of several automation platforms that are offered for processing large numbers of samples. Our low cost Karl Fischer titrators, the AQ-300 and the AQV-300 continue to be our most popular titrators. We offer a wide selection of HPLC columns for virtually every mode and scale of separation. Columns from AsahiPak, Shodex, Shiseido’s CapcellPak, Cosmosil and monolithic CIM disks and columns from BIA Separations.

HPLC Detectors
JM Science has offered parts and service for all Shodex Refractive Index detectors for many years. We have a limited supply of parts for the very old SE-51 and SE-61 Shodex RI detectors. Parts and service are available for the Shodex RI-71 and RI-101. Parts and service are also available for the Shodex series of Conductivity Detectors.

HPLC Degassers
The ERC 7415α four channel HPLC degasser and the Flom TG-14 4 channel degasser are available. Parts and service for all ERC and Flom degassers are provided. Please inquire.

Most of today's HPLC pumps share similar technology such as a rapid-refill cam design, speed-adjusting motors, pulse damper, and preprogrammed pulse-reduction patterns. What distinguishes the 300 series is its Automatic Pulse Reduction System which virtually eliminates pulsation. At the initial stage of solvent flow, the microprocessor circuit analyzes the pulsation pattern, and then gradually reduces pulsation by continually adjusting the motor speed. Unlike other HPLC pumps, the 300 series does not apply preprogrammed patterns that do not reduce pulsation adequately. Instead, the microprocessor studies the pulse pattern, and then applies the best motor speed for the pulsation that is unique to each solvent. The microprocessor continuously adjusts the motor speed until the pulsation is reduced to insignificance. The result is an amazing flow stability that is ideal for today's advanced HPLC applications.
